This week, newly elected Chilean President Sebastian Piñera signed a presidential decree revamping some of Chile’s antiquated immigration code.
Although in the preliminary stages and not yet the law of the land, an initial review indicates that the changes will have little net effect on Sovereign Man subscribers who are looking into Chile as part of their Plan B. Still, you should educate yourself about the changes, especially if you were planning to come to Chile to apply for residency.
